Hey hey , š¾
Weāre switching things up! Starting now, you'll get all the latest and greatest NTASR updates every two weeks! Mark your calendars so you donāt miss out on any of the action, events, or adorable pups.
We've had a whirlwind of activity lately, and we're thrilled to announce that all of our All-Star pups have found their forever homes and will be heading to their new families this weekend! š And that's not allāRhonda, our sweet, lazy Aussie (seriously, she might just hold the title for laziest Aussie ever) who came to us as a breeder surrender with an eye injury, found her perfect family at our Uptown Pup event on Sunday! š
We had a blast soaking up the sunshine, meeting new families, and watching pups make lasting connections. Stay tuned for even more fun, furry news, and donāt miss out on our upcoming events! š¾
Organizational Announcements & Celebrations:Ā
š¾Ā This Sunday, October 27th, from 1 PM - 3 PM, weāre at Hollywood Feed Allen for an adoption event, and weād love to see you and your foster pup there! Itās a great chance for them to meet potential adopters and take the next step toward finding their perfect match.
Bring your foster, hang out with other fosters, and letās work together to get these dogs into their forever homes. See you Sunday!
šØ Weāre On Intake Hold: 96 Dogs in CareĀ
As of October 11, we have 96 dogs in rescue and have paused intakes to focus on getting these pups rehabilitated and into their forever homes. One of our tougher cases, Hooey, spent a week at the vet battling a staph infection, mange, and other skin issues. Between Hooeyās treatments and vetting care for all of the puppies (~20 puppies in rescue right now), our small savings have been wiped out.
Weāre humbly asking for your support. Every little bit helps us continue providing medical care and other essentials for the dogs in NTASR care.
We canāt say this enoughāthank you. Your hard work and dedication to these dogs, day in and day out, is truly inspiring. Youāre the heart and soul of this rescue, and weāre so grateful for everything you do to help these pups on their journey to forever homes.Ā
If you're able to donate or spread the word, it would mean the world to us. šĀ

Don't forget if you need to schedule vetting or request supplies that can be done through the FOSTER RESOURCES page.Ā
Please Remember:
- Puppies <12 Weeks: No interaction with outside dogs or house guests.Ā
- Going out of town? Please leverage the Foster Facebook Group to see if another Foster is able to keep your foster while you are gone.Ā
- Meet and Greets: Arrange only through us. All interested parties must have an approved application on file.
- Vet Appointments: If you can't make it, please inform us 24 hours before. Follow all pre & post-op instructions (no food after 8 PM the night before or the morning of surgery; medication can be given until 10 PM but not on the morning of surgery).
